Synopsis:
Maria and Gustav meet each other during the EU-summit in Gothenburg Sweden, the summer of 2001. They are there to demonstrate for justice and democracy. When the police storms in to the school were they had permission to sleep ( Hvitfeldska Gymnasiet), it turns out that Gustav is an undercover police. Maria gets arrested and beated by the police and Gustav does not interfere. Två years later they meet again outside the court room. How will it end this time?

NAME AND NUMBER, PLEASE is a raw film about the traumatic events that changed many peoples life. Not only police and demonstrants.

Directors Comentary/Statement
To ”Never give up the fight” is a topic that fascinates me. And to make a film about people that deals with a political issue was a struggle, a fight. I wanted to give another perspective to this national Swedish trauma called ”The Gothenburg Riots”.
